COVID-19
Everyone’s safety
As an NDIS provider, we are required to fulfil certain obligations in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and the NDIS Practice Standards, in addition to meeting the conditions of registration. These obligations concern the provision of safe and high-quality supports and services, as well as the management of risks associated with the provision of supports to our participants.
At Empowerable Nursing Care Services, we are concerned for the health and wellbeing of our participants, colleagues, and community members. COVID can infect anyone, however the majority of infected individuals experience only moderate symptoms and recover quickly. Depending on their handicap and medical history, a COVID infection may cause more substantial complications for some disabled individuals. We place your health and safety above everything else, and we will do everything in our ability to ensure your safety.
The QLD Government mandates that anyone working in the disability services sector be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. This ruling, which will aid in the protection of our community against COVID-19, has been applauded by Empowerable Nursing Care Services. To join the team, you must provide documentation of a recent COVID-19 vaccine
